Our Virtual Student Seminar will be hosted by:

Kathryn Smith

DVM Recruiter

Kathryn is very excited to talk to you all about contract negotiation, areas of medicine and residency. Kathryn started working with Animals at the SPCA back in 1994. She continued working for the shelter up through college until 1999, when she started working in her first veterinary hospital. She quickly moved up to management and continued to manage veterinary hospitals until 2017, when she became a DVM recruiter for GP, ER, and Specialty medicine. Kathryn has worked in both private practice as well as corporate hospital acquisitions. Kathryn’s extensive knowledge in this industry plays a key role in illustrating how she can help you succeed in your field and your practice! She is looking forward to meeting everyone!

Demi Thompson

HR Business Partner at Destination Pet LLC

Demi is very excited to have this opportunity to talk to you all about resume building! She knows how overwhelming it can be when students get out of college. They are ready to start their journey on their chosen new path and are anxious to get going. Then they are asked to provide resume of their job skills, etc. Of course they would want their resume to stick out over everyone else’s, but there are times that being “too flashy” would make a potential employer turn the other way. She is here to guide you about how you can make your resume stand out among the rest. She has been working in recruiting, talent, and HR for a little over seven years and has helped over a thousand people find their dream job. It all starts with a resume to get your foot in the door. She is excited to be a part of this with you all and cannot wait to meet you!
